Rarely do I ever leave a doctor’s office with a new pain in my side. But I was laughing so hard during this shoot that is just what happened! I was commissioned by Enhanced Medical Care in Newton, a suburb west of Boston, to make their company’s commercial photography including a headshot of each of their employees, interior and exterior architectural images and detail photography. We had so much fun during the shoot I was in stitches! Ha ha…. They wanted the photography for use on their website, in their marketing materials and in advertising. The practices offers a very unique approach to healthcare. It is a subscription model and Dr. Costa sees patients at his very welcoming home office.

I enjoyed working on the Sustainable Forestry Initiative‘s new website and marketing photography last fall during their annual convention in Burlington, VT. The subjects which included the company CEO and President, a board member and other members of SFI were photographed against a white seamless. I used a Profoto D4 generator with a Calumet large softbox as the main light, a Profoto 7’ Silver Giant Reflector as fill placed behind me and two Chimera medium strip boxes for kickers placed at 45 degree angles behind the subject to their left and right. Below are two samples from their website’s homepage and a secondary page.

Boston Commercial Photographer

commercial photographer bostonI was the Boston commercial photographer who was selected by Welch & Forbes Private Wealth Management to create new photography for their advertising, marketing, headshots and website needs. We made new environmental portraits of their managers, images of employees working together and headshots to go with employee biographies. They are using the images in magazine ads, new collateral pieces, website and for PR purposes. It was a great job to work on since they where so accommodating and they were looking for a very naturalistic and easy going style of photography. It also did not hurt that their gorgeous offices are located in Boston’s historic Old City Hall.
