Bryce Vickmark photographing Barack Obama on Martha's Vineyard. Bryce Vickmark is a professional Boston based editorial and commercial photographer who specializes in environmental portraiture of people and documentary photography for magazine, corporate and advertising clients. He grew up in the great state of Minnesota and at the age of 10 saw a PBS program about time-lapse photography. He was instilled with a love of photography from that day on as well as with a question that still burns in him to this day… why does he insist on writing about himself in the third person? He may never know.

He attended college at Montana State University graduating with a BA in Media & Theater Arts, Photography. He had never been east so he got a staff photographer job at the Connecticut Post Newspaper in Bridgeport, CT.  There he learned of a hatred of celery in clam chowder soup and spent the next five years photographing everything from Presidential visits to Santa Claus visits on fire trucks. He sometimes wonders if people think he talks about himself too much already? He quit his staff job and has been working as a full-time editorial and commercial photographer for over a decade. He lives in Beverly Farms, MA with his wife and their two little girls who are all nice enough to put up with his constantly changing schedule. (Love you!) That was me talking… um…  I mean him.

Bryce is willing to travel to any location as a editorial, commercial and corporate photographer including Providence, Hartford, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, San Diego,  San Francisco and even New York City. Thanks a lot for taking the time to view his work and he hopes to hear from you soon so he can talk about himself some more.
